Eligibility Requirements
Individuals who wish to access Truconnected’s low-cost internet services must provide proof of low-income during the sign-up process.
Any accepted form of low-income verification can be submitted when applying for Truconnected low cost internet. Once an individual’s documentation has been verified and approved by our team, they will be eligible to enroll in Truconnected’s low-cost internet program
• Adult & Child Mental Health Case Management
• Employment Services (only if income-based in your state)
• Extended Foster Care
• Financial Assistance, such as GA, TANF
• Head Start
• Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
• Medicaid or Medical Assistance
• Free or Reduced Lunch Program
• Section 8, Federal Public Housing Assistance
• Group Residential Housing (GRH)
• Section 42, Low Income Housing Tax Credit
• Social Security Disability (SSD)

If a household does not receive government benefits, they may submit proof of their yearly gross income instead. Households earning up to 200% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible for donations. Any income documentation provided must clearly show dollar amounts that can be used to determine the household’s annual income and must include the total number of household members listed on the purchase application.
Accepted forms of proof of income :
* The prior year’s state, federal, or tribal tax return
* A Social Security benefits statement
* A federal or tribal notice letter confirming participation in General Assistance
* A Veterans Administration benefits statement
* A retirement or pension benefits statement (including Social Security benefits)
